Dog Crates & Carriers

Choosing the right dog crate or carrier for your pet is important, especially if you’re going to be crate training at home or if they’re a nervous passenger. We have a range of dog crates and travel carriers available to suit all sizes and breeds of dog.

Your questions answered (FAQs)

In order to ensure you find the right size crate for your dog, measure from your dog’s paws to the top of its head and measure its length from its head to the tip of its tail. Ideally, any dog crate should have enough space for your dog to comfortably sit up, lie down and stretch out. Dog transport boxes should be 15cm taller and longer than your dog, to make sure it has enough space to comfortably move around. If your dog is still a puppy, remember to think about how much it’s expected to grow and ensure you buy a crate a few sizes bigger – you can always divide off sections in the meantime.
You want to make sure that the crate is a positive space for your dog, therefore we’d recommend keeping dog blankets, some toys and perhaps a dog bed in the crate. For travel crates, a dog blanket will help keep your dog comfortable.
