Your questions answered (FAQs)
The most comfortable dog bed will vary based on the size, personality, and age of your dog that’s why we have a wide range of small and large dog beds. Some dogs may enjoy Fluffy Pillow Beds while others tend to enjoy the support of orthopaedics. Take some time and study your companion’s sleeping habits to learn their bedding needs. A fully grown dog can be measured from to tail to determine the size of the bed. Then add approximately 12 inches to decipher the length or diameter of the bed. For a puppy you must consider how large they may grow.
First, make sure your dog’s bed is somewhere they would want to be. We’d recommend using dog blankets and some of their favourite dog toys. Walk your dog to the bed and once they step inside the bed give them a treat. Anytime your dog is sleepy make sure to walk them towards the bed and encourage them to sleep on it.
Set up the dog bed in the position where you want them to sleep day and night. Once your dog understands where the bed is they will comfortable and at ease.
Depending on the life stage of your dog depends on the type of bed i.e. a puppy may need a waterproof or rough plastic bed to discourage chewing and a senior dog may need an orthopaedic one.
As often as it may need and use a non-bio gentle washing power or liquid as you would for a small child.
