When and often should I give my bird treats?

Bird treats should make up less than 5% of their diet. As long as the treats don’t contain a lot of sugar, they can have one or two treats a day. It’s recommended to make sure they’ve eaten their pellets first, because this contains most of the nutrients they need to stay healthy.
