Cats tend to prefer a litter that has small particules and is unscented with this in mind our tofu cat litter and biodegradable wood litter are great picks for most cats.
You only need around 2-3 inches of cat litter in the tray. You’ll know if you’ve put too much in because your cat will have to dig around more than neccesary and may end up hiding it’s poop.
Scoop the waste, put it in a biodegradable poop bag and put it in the bin, If you are cleaning and emptying the whole tray you can put this in your normal household waste bin.
Placement of a cat litter tray can be very important, by placing the tray in discreen corners or adjacent to a wall allows your cat to have a 180 degree view of anything approaching. This allows them to feel safe and relaxed enough to go.
