As a family we have rescued dogs for years. We currently have 4 beautiful rescued canine pals who we adore. Each has individual personalities, quirks and issues. One in particular has her own issues which after 10 years we have come to understand and tolerate. However none of their issues stopped us from continuing to work with them on a daily basis in ensuring that they received a better quality of life which they deserved.  We were committed in giving them all their forever home!

When we decided to take the leap into opening up our Pet Store, we deemed it necessary to give back to charity what we gained in kisses and cuddles from our fur babies. So by giving back we became fund raisers and animal event’s organisers for our local and national charities.
Pre Pandemic we raised thousands with numerous Fun Dog Shows, Raffles, Cake Sales and Book Sales to raise these much needed funds. To date our Santa Paws Christmas photo event, which is an event where you and your family and your pet/pets are able to get a lovely photograph with Santa in his Grotto, has helped to raise funds for the WSPCA too! We were committed to raising and helping our local charity.

So when the Pandemic hit us for six it kind of stopped us in our tracks for a few weeks as we gathered our thoughts and tried to take in this awful worldwide epidemic. But it didn’t stop us for long! No way were we going to let a pandemic stop us from raising money for our beloved charity!
So we decided to hold a Virtual Dog Show our Facebook page and this event absolutely sky rocketed! We were astounded by the amount of people entering our categories and amazed by people’s generosity with their donations. We ended up raising a lot of money for the WSPCA which subsequently helped many animals receive their vaccinations, care and operations.

Our hearts melted with the dedication from our followers entries. Their beautiful photos, captions and videos of their beloved pets were awesome. We could not thank them enough.
Overall, I think you are now aware of our commitment. We simply want to raise awareness of issues surrounding animal welfare, both locally and nationally.  We believe all animals deserve love and attention and their forever safe homes, just like our fur babies.
