How to feed it
Feeding amounts depend on the mother’s target weight and stage of gestation, or the puppy’s age in weeks — Royal Canin publishes detailed daily feeding charts for both. As a general rule, lactating mothers can be fed ad libitum, while very young puppies under 3 weeks should stay on Babydog Milk rather than this mousse. Always keep fresh water available, and speak to a vet for guidance specific to your dog.
Weak or smaller puppies
This mousse’s smooth texture makes it particularly suitable for weaning smaller or weaker puppies. That said, any small or weak puppy should be examined by a vet, since their health may be at greater risk during weaning.
What comes next
