Pre-Wedding Meet and Greet:
Aoife is Dec's Pets Head Groomer and Dog Grooming Tutor, who has 5 dogs herself, is experienced with rescue dogs and has years of experience with handling dogs. She will fluff, puff and pamper your dog before the big day to ensure your pooch looks and smells his/her very best on the big day. -
Pre-Wedding Dog Groom:
Aoife is Dec's Pets Head Groomer and Dog Grooming Tutor, who has 5 dogs herself, is experienced with rescue dogs and has years of experience with handling dogs. She will fluff, puff and pamper your dog before the big day to ensure your pooch looks and smells his/her very best on the big day. -
Wedding Day Assistance:
Aoife will: - Pick up your dog and transport them to the venue - Assist with walking your dog down the aisle (or carrying out other roles like ring bearer) - Manage them during photo sessions for perfect shots - Supervise them during the ceremony and reception, ensuring they are happy, fed, and walked - Provide a safe return home or to your designated place after the event. -
Custom Outfits & Accessories:
Want your pup to wear a tuxedo, flower crown, or even a bowtie or bandana? We’ll help outfit your dog to match your wedding theme. We offer as part of the package a bandana, tuxedo collar or bow tie. Or we can discuss a flower crown with you made from fresh flowers to match your deign on the day at an extra cost. -
Overnight Pet Care:
If you and your guests plan on celebrating late into the evening, we offer overnight boarding at our customer's favourite boarding, the very popular Kilpatrick Kennels in Crossabeg owned by Ronan Devereux. Along with Aoife, Ronan makes sure your dog is well taken care of whilst you relax and enjoy your special evening ahead. Extra boarding before and after your special day can also be arranged.
What to Expect On The Day
Meet Aoife
- Aoife has been a Dog Groomer for 8 years and has 5 extremely spoilt (lol) and cared for dogs of her own. She is a tutor of Dog Grooming which she excels at and Wexford Local Development has now collaborated with Aoife and Dec’s Pets to help train people to become a Dog Groomer.
- Aoife comes from a family who rescued pets for years, so has the ability to understand dogs through communication, instinct and emotional connection. Her partner lives on a farm and also has a natural built-in understanding of animals. In fact Ronan decided to open up Dog Kennels four years ago and hasn’t looked back. He’s very successful and has a great name around Wexford for his services.
- So you can rest assured your Wedding Day with your fur baby will run smoothly because Aoife and Ronan are two professionals who have kindness and patience in abundance and have years of experience working with dogs.
